OUR SWEET SECRET

The sweet secret behind the coconut tree
Beginning with choosing a coconut tree specifically for making nectar. When the coconut pollen emerges, wait 15 days for the pollen large enough to collect nectar. The flower must be gently tilted down for 3-4 days before collecting the nectar so it will drip into the cylinder. In general, a bouquet of coconut pollen can be stored for 30 days. A coconut tree can pollinate 10 bunches of coconut flowers per tree. Once the pollen is exhausted, it takes another 3 months to bloom.

Harvesting sweetness from coconut flowers
Nectar must be collected every morning and evening. The pollen must be wiped to obtain new nectar every time, using sapwood to prevent the coconut nectar from spoiling in the cylinder collecting the nectar. After collection of the coconut flower nectar we, then filter nectars to remove the sap and bees before moving on to the next step.

Making sugar with nectar the traditional way
Boiled in a traditional way, our Coconut nectar is heated by coconut pulp as a fuel and using a mound or rim to prevent the syrup from boiling out of the pan. Boiled until the desired color then put to rest and proceed on to the next step.
